The Wildlife Habitat is located at the entrance to Port Douglas, 50 minutes north of Cairns along the scenic Captain Cook Highway coastline. From Port Douglas, the park is located 6 kilometres from the main street.

  • Hire a car and self-drive. The Wildlife Habitat is located on the corner of Captain Cook Highway and Port Douglas Road, just 6 kilometres from the heart of Port Douglas, and 30 minutes from Cairns' Northern Beaches.
  • There are a range of tours with Tropic Wings and Jungle Tours that incorporate the Wildlife Habitat in their itinerary. Pick a tour that goes to Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, Daintree and Cape Tribulation.
