COVID Safe Plan
Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas has implemented a COVIDSafe Plan to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers. The number of daily visitors will be limited, and social distancing guidelines will be strictly enforced.
Hygiene and sanitising stations are available throughout our park and signage is displayed to ensure social distancing practices are followed.
In relation to any Pandemic, we reserve the right to request customers to check in utilising the Check In Qld App, and have adhered to government regulations in relation to hotspots and exposure sites.
For entry, guests must be able to meet the below conditions of entry:
Conditions of Entry
From 17th December 2021, our business has been legislated to only accept entry of customers, staff, and visitors who are fully vaccinated or have a medical contraindication as per the Public Health Direction.
Our staff will therefore request customers, staff, and visitors to sign in on arrival using the Check In Qld App, and will need to sight vaccination confirmation or medical contraindication prior to entry being accepted.
Australian Butterfly Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse entry to a customers, staff, or visitors if proof of vaccination or medical contraindication is not provided.
COVID CLEAN Practicing Business
Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas is accredited through the Quality Tourism Framework as a COVID CLEAN Practicing Business. The accreditation ensures that we are undertaking daily, weekly, monthly and annual cleaning requirements in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas encourages staff and customers to download the COVIDSafe app. This helps us to support and protect you, your friends and family. The COVID app speeds up contacting people who have been exposed to Coronavirus (COVID19).
