Estuarine or Saltwater Crocodiles are cold-blooded reptiles. Their energy is sourced from sunlight and their feeding habits can be dictated around weather conditions in their environments.  Far North Queensland has tropical climes and during the “dry season”, May-September, feeding and swim experiences may be affected during these “colder” months when crocodilians would normally become less active.   During “wet season” build-up around October / November, humid temperatures can change crocodile behaviours and habits and they may become more active. Our CrocArena team are attuned to animal behaviour and every effort will be made to ensure your “swim with the salties”  is memorable, however please be advised these are wild animals and we are unable to guarantee they will feed and engage all year round.

All times are subject to change due to weather conditions, animal welfare or guest safety.
